The Powertech NG and Ambiance Shade Systems for Commercial Airlines

The Powertech NG (Next Generation) Shade System is installed by Airbus in the A380 as an enhancement to the First and Business Class premium cabins.

The Ambiance Shade System is installed by Boeing in the B777 as an enhancement to the First and Business Class premium cabins.

  • The shades provide infinite light control from full open to complete darkness. Each shade features an individual control switch and remote switch whereby several shades can be controlled together, by the passenger
  • The Flight Attendant can control all the shades in the cabin, a key cabin safety and convenience feature
  • Ambiance fits to the standard B777 sidewall, and being modular enables ultra-rapid maintainability. A unit can be removed and a new one installed in less than 60 seconds.
